China digged to build an under sea tunnel for linking the east and west parts of Qingdao province. This is a second undersea tunnel in China. The first undersea tunnel is connecting at Xiamen island and the mainland in Fujian province. The second undersea tunne3l named "Qingdao's jiaozhou Bay Undersea Tunnel" is running with 3.95 kilometers undersea and connect the unban Tuandao district and Xuejia Island in Huangdao District. These undersea tunnel cost 485 million U.S dollars. I think these can help people for driving a car to other places. It is not waste of time to drive, but it is comfortable for people who have to used this tunnel. These undersea tunnel cut travel time to go from one side to other side from a hour to ten minutes.
